Last night at 2207 hours Salem / Morrow Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to Turtlecreek Twp Fire Department are for a structure fire. Upon arrival we had smoke and fire showing. Assistant Chief Mike Jameson established command and ran the incident. The fire was brought under control quickly. The departments that helped at the structure fire were Salem / Morrow Fire Department, Lebanon Fire Department, Wayne Twp Fire Department, and Warren County Fire Investigation Team. We just returned from an Ice Rescue incident with Clinton-Warren Joint Fire Department. CWJFD had 3 victims and 1 dog stuck out on an island at Cowan Lake. Wilmington and the Warren County Technical Rescue Team were requested. Department that help with the team was Salem / Morrow Fire Department, Harlan Twp Fire Rescue, Deerfield Twp Fire Rescue, Franklin Twp Fire Department, and Turtlecreek Twp Fire Department. The Tech team with CWJFD used banana boats, Ice rescue gear, PFD, and rope to rescue all victims off the island. Thank you to all who helped.

Remember water that freeze over melt fast when the temperature rises and the wind blows. So you may have made it once but can you make it back. I would like to remind every that Ice on a pond or lake is DANGEROUS. See MoreSee Less

Today at 0716 Salem /Morrow Fire Department assisted Lebanon Fire Department with a structure fire. Air 71 was called to help fill bottles on Main Street.
